Excerpt From jane's world
There is much to be said about the positive effects of finding joy in each day. It softens our outlook on day-to-day challenges.
Often when I'm taking the pups in the car to the Kickapoo Reserve for their run, I find myself smiling like a Cheshire cat. Tete´ has her head out the window, little Finnegan is standing on his hind legs, stretching to get his head out the window, and Raime is right behind them, sitting patiently, watching out the other window. My dogs' anticipation of running with wild abandon is pure joy for me.
I drive a lot for work between the classes I teach and clients I meet. I find myself turning off the radio and tuning in to the countryside. The golden soybean fields next to the bright green grass with a blue sky full of white fluffy clouds can make my heart flutter as if I were falling in love. I love living in an area where every season can make me smile out loud!
